Adopt 100 Ostrich Nests in Magadi & Amboseli
Help us scale the Adopt an Ostrich Nest program beyond the 237 juveniles already safeguarded — into the Magadi ecosystem and Amboseli landscape.
An escalation of illegal trade in ostrich eggs in 2020 led communities and school youth to start adopting and monitoring nests. The result: 237 juvenile Masai ostriches safeguarded and the illegal egg trade stopped in the area.
Your gift trains new student monitors, equips community scouts and funds daily nest data collection as we scale to the Magadi wildlife ecosystem and nearby Amboseli landscape.
