Saving Endangered Wildlife
Using the Masai ostrich as a flagship species, we engage the community to monitor the ecosystem and protect endangered wildlife — elephants, Masai giraffes, wild dogs, pangolins, leopard tortoises and vultures.

In this initiative we are using the Masai ostrich (Struthio camelus massaicus) as a flagship species in engaging the community to monitor the state of the ecosystem and protect other endangered wildlife species in the area.
These include African elephants, Masai giraffes, wild dogs, pangolins, leopard tortoises, Egyptian and Rüppell's griffon vultures, amongst other mammals, birds, reptiles and insects that depend on acacia habitats for survival.
